Unresponsive Screen

Your screen is not responding to input.

Power down the device and then power it back on. Hold the power button on the top-left-hand side of the device for five seconds, then press it again after the device has powered off. Check to see if there is any change to the responsiveness of the screen.

If the problem persists, there may be a problem with the software release. Search for Garmin nuvi 2460lmt and download the 'Garmin Express' update software. Once installed, open 'Garmin Express' on your computer and click the 'Add Device' button. You will then be asked to connect your device via a USB cable. Afterward, click the device icon and then click 'Install All' on the device's dashboard, where you will be guided through the process.

Audio Distortion

You have trouble hearing sounds from your device.

Adjust the volume to make sure it is not muted or turned all the way down. On the 'Main Menu' screen, tap the volume icon and move the slider up to hear if there is a noticeable change in audio.

Your device may need an update to address the audio issue. Check for updates using the provided instructions in 'Update Needed' found under 'Unresponsive Screen'.

Attempt to recharge the battery. To recharge the device's battery, plug the device into a plugged-in computer or a wall adapter via the included USB cable and wait for at least 45 minutes.
